I'm Steve Fleckenstein, an information omnivore with broad interests in art, music, science, nature, technology, architecture, food, philosophy, and— above all— people. The world is just so interesting.
By day I'm a mild-mannered web guru. I've spent over 16 years working for/ with organizations ranging from an interactive gaming company to the White House to a telecommunications behemoth, helping them develop and implement online strategies.
Since my first job as a paper boy at age 11, I've worked at 14 distinctively different types of jobs for 35+ organizations (including consulting clients). From these experiences I've gained a fairly unique perspective on work— a subject which fascinates and frustrates me in equal measures.
Originally from Pittsburgh (go Steelers!), I now live in Arlington, VA with my beautiful wife and two awesome sons.
